Stuart Boggs: To Cut Away the Surface
11 February - 27 March 2011
The works are about the uplifting earth and the subsequent erosional
balance. Stuart's previous training as a Geologist has focused my attention
on the underlying landscape. In addition, living and working in the gorge
country of the New England gives that perfect cross-section of above and
below. |

|
Robyn Jackson and Julia Hardman: Mixed Mediums
11 February - 27 March 2011
Dulce Lindsay Gallery
Robyn is inspired by the stories and characters from every day living in a country town. She has created a series of fun, colourful artworks imbued with just a little touch of mischief. A small gesture in a coffee shop, a hairdresser or just an interesting face passing in the street is enough to trigger the imagination and the creation of a new artwork. |
 |
A recent trip to Brazil gave Julia a new insight into observing and expressing the landscape. Her interest focused on people in the environment, either working or playing. On returning home, her garden became an immediate acknowledgement of what she saw in her travels from cities and to the northern most tip of the coastal regions. Wide open spaces, the lazy swinging hammocks, outdoor beach activities, boats, yachts and sail craft.
This exhibition represents a love of the seaside and the beauty of nature be
it far away or at home. |

Naomi Ullman: Dreams are made of this
1 April - 15 May 2011
Dreams are made of this, satirizes the “great Aussie dream” of home ownership - a dream that is becoming increasingly out of reach and for many Australians, even nightmarish. Gone are the humble and welcoming semi-detached homes of my Bondi childhood, replaced by fortress-like and excessive McMansions.
Sadly, this is a nationwide phenomenon and we currently lead the world in constructing overly large houses.

GLINT aims to please and challenge viewers using reflected light, colour and
shape in surprising ways. GLINT began in 2009 when Lin and Michelle were
