Function Booking Policy

NERAM invites public use of our conference facilities and gallery spaces.
The hire of NERAM galleries and rooms for events and functions is subject to a number of factors:

* Priority is given to the Museum’s exhibitions program.

* The nature of the exhibitions will determine the spaces available and the limitations of wine and food allowed in proximity to the works.

* Contract agreements for works on loan usually stipulate no food or wine next to the works.

* Rarely, and by negotiation only, some works of art may be removed to permit the conduct of special events. Related costs will be incurred.



Payment Terms: At the completion of your function we will send you an invoice for the balance due. Alternatively you may pay the balance on the day. Cheques should be made payable to NERAM.

Decorations/Additional Equipment: All must be approved by NERAM 72 hours prior to your event.

Custodian: A custodial fee of $30 per hour (with a minimum of 3 hours) shall apply in each case where the function is held outside regular opening hours.

Access outside NERAM Opening Hours: Access to any space after NERAM opening hours will require employment of a NERAM custodian. Gallery spaces will be available on a restricted basis during NERAM opening hours, and unrestricted between the hours of 6pm & 10pm weekdays, and 5pm & 10pm weekends – exhibitions permitting.

Catering: NERAM does not allow outside catering. Please contact the Functions Manager in regards to your specific requirements

Setup: A setup fee of $60 shall apply in each case.

Cleaning: A cleaning fee of $30 shall apply in each case.

Other: Smoking is not permitted within NERAM.
