One Day workshop

This one-day workshop explores the relationship between the printed image, collage and the book structure as a collision of creative forms. Participants will be instructed in mono-type, dry point and collage print processes that will then be formulated into a selection of book structures.
Artist Glen Skien founded the Silent Parrot Press in Mackay in 2000 before relocating to Brisbane in 2007 to complete both a Masters and Doctorate in Visual Arts at the Queensland College of Arts, Griffith University. He conducts workshops and classes in printmaking techniques, book binding, box making and life drawing and is currently working as printmaking lecturer at the QCA Print Department. He has exhibited widely and his work is held in both private and public collections throughout Australia and Japan.
Includes cut lunch, tea and coffee.
