Since incorporation in 1983 as a Crown Land Reserve Trust, the New England Regional Art Museum has been guided, managed and administered by Trustees appointed by the Minister of Land and Water Conservation. The Armidale Dumaresq Council was appointed as the Corporate Trustee in May 2005.
