DESCRIPTION:NERAM is pleased to announce our end of year exhibition\, 40 under 40. This exhibition is open to emerging artists and artisans in New England under the age of 40 working in any medium. With no set theme this is an opportunity for artists and artisans to showcase their authentic creative voice without restriction. \nThis exhibition will include the opportunity for an artist’s work to be selected by committee for acquisition into the NERAM Collection. \nAcquisition sponsored by  \n \n40 works will be chosen by committee for display in the exhibition. Selected artists announced 15th of October 2026. \n\nKey Dates\n\nEntries open – 25th July 2026 Download Entry Form \nEntries close – 5th October 2026\nFinalist’s announced – 15th October 2026\nArtworks to be delivered to NERAM – 2nd to 6th of November\nInstall of exhibition – 9th – 13th of November\nExhibition opening event and announcement of acquisition – 13th November 6pm\nExhibition Closes – 7th February 2027 4pm\n\n\nCriteria for an emerging artist \nAn “emerging artist” is a creator in the early stages of their professional career who has begun to build a consistent body of work\, a budding audience\, and initial public recognition. \nThe artist does not yet have a broad\, sustained market presence\, representation by major galleries\, or an extensive\, nationally recognized exhibition and review history. \n\nEntry requirements and information\nArtist must be under 40 at the time of application. \nArtist must reside in the New England district. See map. \nLimit of 2 entries per artist. \nAll work\, if selected\, must include installation materials and equipment such as D Rings. NERAM can and will provide plinths\, hanging wires and display cases. \nWork must be clearly marked on the back with the artist’s name and address and the title of the work. \nWork must not be wet when submitted. \nComplex artworks\, such as multi-panel paintings\, must be delivered with printed installation instructions and appropriate reference photography. \nArtists are responsible for organisation and cost of transport and insurance of works to and from NERAM. \n2D works must not exceed 1m x 1m including frame. \nSculptures must not exceed 1m (h) x 80cm (d) x 80cm (w). \nArtist CV required with application as a Word or PDF file \nImage of works must be supplied as Jpegs. \nFor video entries\, provide a link to your video (for example\, on YouTube\, Dropbox or Vimeo) \nSale price of artwork: your artwork must be for sale. Please list the sale price on your entry form. Please be aware that NERAM takes a 40% commission + GST. \nEntries and enquiries to be sent to gallery@neram.com.au \nYour Entry Check List\n\nArtist CV – to be supplied as a PDF or Word Doc.\nImages of work\, maximum 3.
