SUMMARY:Abstract Painting for Kids: Inspired by Angus Nivison
DESCRIPTION:Discover the huge\, impressive abstract works of Angus Nivison\, then create an abstract painting of your own in this hands-on school holiday workshop at NERAM! \nIn this workshop\, we’ll be drawing inspiration one of Angus Nivison’s work in particular – The Four Seasons (2014)\, which was created while listening to The Four Seasons by Vivaldi\, as performed by Max Richter. \nAs part of this workshop\, participants will get to paint their own abstract masterpieces while listening to The Four Seasons\, just like Nivison. \nBy painting with music\, students will draw inspiration not just from what they see in the gallery\, but from the emotions and movement they hear through the music\, creating a unique\, powerful artwork and releasing emotions onto the canvas. \n\nEVENT INFORMATION \nDate: Wednesday 7 October 2026\nTime: 10:30am – 12:30pm\nLocation: Packsaddle studio\, New England Regional Art Museum\nCost: General price $42.
