DESCRIPTION:Join us for a chat with photographer Jim Barker as he discusses his project Artisans of the New England. \nInitiated in 2022\, Barker has documented creatives in the region including painters\, sculptors\, ceramicists\, as well as those who make things with their hands such as clockmakers\, furniture restorers\, seamstresses and writers. The collective body of work Barker has created over many months not only reveals these individual artists but also captures a view of the foundation of New England’s creative landscape: diverse\, engaged\, enthusiastic\, talented\, dedicated artists.
