Explore different techniques and art styles for a range of natural subjects with illustrator, artist and writer, Sami Bayly. Understand the journey from artwork to book ready illustrations, and get a firsthand look into the publishing industry.
Students over 12 years and of all levels of art experience are welcome.
Meet Sami Bayly
Sami is a natural history illustrator. Her first book, The Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Ugly Animals, won the Children’s Indie Book of the Year Award and the Australian Book Design Award for Young Readers. She is passionate about sharing her love of the natural world and how she creates the words and artwork for her wonderful books.
