SUMMARY:Linocut masterclass with Rew Hanks
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy an afternoon with Rew Hanks who will discuss his work practice and share knowledge of lino printing processes. \nRew Hanks is a Sydney-based printmaker whose linocuts and graphic works have been widely exhibited across Australia and internationally. \nThis workshop is not suitable for beginners\, it is for people with previous experience in linocut printing who want to extend their skills. \nTry out techniques and learn tips including: \nMaking marks for different purposes/output \nWhich tools to use for different effects \nDesigning textures \nGetting clean Blacks and whites \nInking up fine lines and marks \nMaterials to bring with you: \nSmall sample lino plate (eg:15x15cm) to try all these skills on the day \nLino cutting tools \nPaper to print on \nApron and closed shoes \n(Inks\, inking stations\, rollers and cleaning products will be available in the studio to use) \n  \nDate: 1pm – 4pm Saturday October 24th \nLocation: Packsaddle Studio NERAM \nCost: General price $100\, Friends of NERAM/Member price $90 \n\n\n \nTerms and Conditions\n\n\n\n\n\nAll bookings for events\, art classes and workshops require payment in full at the time of booking\nA minimum number of 8 students required for classes to proceed\, please book and pay before 9am Monday 20th October 2026 to ensure classes go ahead\nPlease be aware that once bookings close\, we are unable to offer a refund\nIf the class does not proceed\, you will be refunded any cash amount\nNERAM events have a limited capacity and use a ticketing system. Bookings are essential\nStudent contact details may be passed on to facilitators for communication purposes\n\n\n\n\n\n
