SUMMARY:New at NERAM: Selected recent acquisitions 2019-2023
DESCRIPTION:NERAM has a deserved reputation for its art collection. Founded with two significant bequests\, the Howard Hinton Collection and Chandler Coventry Collection\, its holdings have subsequently grown over the last four decades with the ever-expanding NERAM Collection. \nThis exhibition features selected highlights of recent acquisitions over the last five years which have entered the collection through generous donations by artists\, private collectors\, galleries\, and the Packsaddle committee. \nNew at NERAM features works by artists such as Charles Blackman\, Judy Cassab\, Grace Crowley\, Elioth Gruner\, Rew Hanks\, Martin King\, Lionel Lindsay. Angus Nivison\, Marisa Purcell\, Ben Tooth\, and Roland Wakelin amongst others. \nOpening Night: Friday 12 April\, 6-8pm \nImage credit: Martin King\, silent witness v\, 2018\, graphite and watercolour on drafting film and paper. Donated through the Australian Government’s Cultural Gifts Program by Martin King in 2023.\n
