A 10 week series of art classes for intermediate to advanced painters, this oil painting course is a hands-on approach to teach you everything that you need to know to make a still life painting and immerse you into this genre of painting.
Taught by Anne Clarke, who has exhibited in both Australia and London, you will learn the fundamentals of essential drawing and design, decision-making, finding subjects, placement, dynamic lighting, techniques of oil painting and how to produce either a subtle or dynamic result.
Students are expected to bring their own materials for oil painting. Brushes, paints, canvas etc. Still Life props are supplied.

Venue: Packsaddle Studio (Rear of NERAM, external access only)
Cost: $200 Friends of NERAM / $220 General Inc $15 Cleaning Fee (To adhere with COVID-19 hygiene protocol)
Cleaning Fee: To adhere with COVID-19 hygiene protocols, the Packsaddle Studio will undergo a professional clean after every lesson to ensure the health and safety of our class facilitators and students. For Term 4, students are required to pay for the term fee plus cleaning fee to allow us to facilitate classes at this time.
Minimum of 8 attendees required to run this class, maximum of 18 students.
About the Artist:
After more than 20 years of a busy art practice and exhibitions both in Australia and London, Anne still enjoys making marks on paper or canvas, adding and manipulating paint until the work declares itself finished.
