June 21 @ 6:00 pm - August 18 @ 4:00 pm
In 1929 building began on the Armidale Teachers’ College. That same year Howard Hinton made his first donation of artwork to the College, an initial step in creating one of the most significant art collections in regional Australia. Ninety years later, the history and architecture makes the Old Teachers’ College one of the most distinctive institutions of Armidale, contributing to a legacy of education and culture in the region.
Exhibition produced in partnership with the University of New England and the Friends of the Armidale Teachers’ College. Co-curated by Bill Oates, UNE Archivist.
Opening Night: Friday 21st June, from 6.00pm
