October 22, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm
$120 – $132In this small group workshop the attendees will explore wet felting.
Initially everyone will create a piece of felt that can be used to make a wall hanging, cushion cover, journal cover, coasters, needle-case, small bag or other similar items. This step will teach the principles of wet felting, ie. how to lay out the wool tops, decorate your piece, then felt and full it.
Then after the lunch break we’ll progress and everyone will make a small bowl using a resist felting technique. By the end of the class everyone will have created a piece of felt about 20cm square and a small bowl. This workshop is a great opportunity to enjoy handmade processes and have fun learning how to continue these traditional crafts.
