May 14 @ 10:00 am - May 15 @ 4:00 pm$279
Join us for the second (beginners still welcome!) in a series of weekend workshops run by printmaker Rhonda Ellem throughout 2022.
Over the weekend, participants will be guided through the tricky but satisfying process of creating a half-drop repeat lino block. A half-drop repeat, when printed continuously runs seamlessly vertically and horizontally, and is designed to print on wallpaper or fabric. Participants will be encouraged to extend their personal design style, be shown safe cutting techniques, learn a little about colour modulation, and walk away with a half-drop repeat block, a length of wallpaper, and a sampler book.
Lino, wallpaper, paint and book-making materials are supplied. Lino carving tools are available during the workshop.
