Liz Priestley is back again with her fantastic Encaustic Art Workshop.
This workshop is designed to be a fun and informative experience, learning the basics of painting with hot wax.
Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with a blow torch, image transfer, using stencils, collaging with encaustic and gaining an understanding layering of the medium. Additionally Liz Priestley will be giving tips and tricks on mixing colours and using oil paint glazes. Students will have two 30cm x 30cm boards to work on and should have one completed artwork by the end of the day. All materials are provided and all skill levels welcome.

Protective clothing required. Long sleeves (cotton preferred), apron and closed in shoes.

NSW Government has introduced new restrictions to come into affect from Monday 11 October 2021. These restrictions require all visitors and staff to have had two doses of COVID-19 vaccine to enter the Museum and Six Counties Restaurant, as well as all classes, workshops and events held at NERAM.
