September 12 @ 10:00 am - September 13 @ 4:00 pm
$350 – $388
Join Australian artist Angus Nivison for a painting masterclass exploring the relationship between abstraction and scale. Drawing on insights from his own studio practice, Angus will guide participants through the process of developing an abstract painting from an initial small study and translating it into a larger, resolved work.
Through demonstrations, discussion and practical exercises, participants will gain valuable insight into composition, colour, gesture and decision-making when working at different scales.
Ideal for artists looking to expand their practice, this masterclass offers a rare opportunity to learn directly from one of Australia’s most respected contemporary painters.
Participants are encouraged to come along with some ideas to start a work.
