Wearable Art – where fine art meets fashion, science, and engineering to create a sculptural form using the body as its base. Free from the restrictions of any of these disciplines, anything is possible – as long as it is wearable.
Enjoy a presentation on the many approaches of other designers, as well as a close look at the career development, and design and construction processes involved in the creation of Svenja’s own comprehensive body of work. Feast your eyes on footage of wearable art works in motion on the World of Wearable Art stage within the enormous unique production created annually. Open your mind to the infinite possibilities of inspiration from the strangest of beginnings. Try your hand at the process of beginning to design your own piece, with two guided exercises to open your mind to the infinite possibilities of inspiration from the strangest of beginnings.

- All bookings for events, art classes and workshops require payment in full at the time of booking
- A minimum number of 8 students required for classes to proceed, please book and pay before 9am Tuesday June 9 2026 to ensure classes go ahead
- Please be aware that once bookings close, we are unable to offer a refund
- If the class does not proceed, you will be refunded any cash amount
