Abstract Painting for Kids: Inspired by Angus Nivison

Discover the huge, impressive abstract works of Angus Nivison, then create an abstract painting of your own in this hands-on school holiday workshop at NERAM!
In this workshop, we’ll be drawing inspiration one of Angus Nivison’s work in particular – The Four Seasons (2014), which was created while listening to The Four Seasons by Vivaldi, as performed by Max Richter.
As part of this workshop, participants will get to paint their own abstract masterpieces while listening to The Four Seasons, just like Nivison.
By painting with music, students will draw inspiration not just from what they see in the gallery, but from the emotions and movement they hear through the music, creating a unique, powerful artwork and releasing emotions onto the canvas.
