Join us before the official opening to hear exhibiting artist Lae Oldmeadow in conversation with curator Professor Pedram Khosronejad as they discuss The Garden — Oldmeadow’s debut solo exhibition at NERAM.
In The Garden, outsider artist Lae Oldmeadow creates a contemplative and tactile installation where nature and culture intertwine. A series of Totems of Contemplation leads visitors towards the central sculptural work, The Garden, evoking the sensation of stepping into a magical forest. Crafted from palm fibre, sisal, organic cotton and ultramarine paint, Oldmeadow’s totems and wall sculptures explore themes of reverence, resilience and renewal.
