Letterpress Short Course | Class 2: Type & Design
A series of 3-week short courses that can be undertaken individually, or as a complete overview-style course in the Museum of Printing, NERAM. In class 2 students will get an overview of letterpress printing posters using large-format wood type and the vintage iron flatbed press from the MoP collection.

This 3 week course aims to build skills in drawing with an emphasis on creating original artworks from either observed subjects or source material such as photographs. Leah Bullen will offer one on one input for each student to produce finished works.

Master printmaker, draftsman and painter Martin King will be hosting an intensive printmaking workshop in the Museum of Printing NERAM. During the one day intensive workshop, each participant will work with perspex intaglio, water-based monoprinting and chine collé.
