Calling all teachers and educators – please join us at NERAM for a workshop by local Anaiwan educator and consultant, David Widders.
A unique after-school workshop specifically aimed at teachers and school leaders, this event aims to build insight and enable more awareness about how to work with Indigenous students and communities as well as how to more effectively embed the NSW cross curriculum priority of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories & Cultures.
David Widders has been a leading cultural advocate for Indigenous peoples for over 24 years and is heavily involved in multiple organisations as well as being the current Aboriginal Education Officer at Drummond Memorial Public School.
The workshop will cover the following areas:
