Dry point is an exciting direct form of etching or engraving that requires no acid. We will work in the Museum of Printing, experimenting with mark making on perspex and metal plates, creating line, texture and tone. There will also be the opportunity to experiment with the process of adding coloured papers (known as Chine collé) and of adding extra layers of colour. Students will print using the etching press in the Museum.
Suitable for absolute beginners or experienced printmakers.Find out more »
