Term 2 2023 | Art Play on Thursdays

Due to popular demand, NERAM is running an extra series of Art Play sessions towards the end of term 2. Sessions will be facilitated by arts educator Neroli Makim and will run over 6 consecutive Thursdays from 25th May - 29th June. NERAM invites families with children aged birth to 6 years to come along to the museum for creative and sensory play with storytime and engagement with the wonderful exhibitions on display.

Family Stargazing

To celebrate the exhibition, Experimenta Life Forms, NERAM invites families to bring a picnic dinner and rug-up for an evening under the stars! UNE and Northern Tablelands Society (UNENTAS) will be hosting the event, providing telescopes and answering any questions you may have about astronomy. From 5.30pm families can enjoy their picnic on the grass next to the Six Counties restaurant with stargazing by UNENTAS running from 6pm-7pm.

Cake Decorating | School Holiday Workshop

Currently on show, is exhibition Three Echoes – Western Desert Art showcasing works by 57 acclaimed artists heralding from Ikuntji (Haasts Bluff), Papunya and Utopia Aboriginal communities in the western desert regions of the Northern Territory.
