We couldn’t let the 148th birthday of our benefactor, Howard Hinton, slip by without a celebration of some kind. We’re running two storeroom tours on Tuesday 10 November at 10:30am and 2:30pm, free to the first 15 people who book in. All you need to do is book through this link: http://www.trybooking.com/JPEK. Get a group together, or come on your own, for an exciting behind-the-scenes look at the treasures Howard Hinton generously bequeathed to the people of Armidale, including works by Norman Lindsay, Nora and Hans Heysen, Tom Roberts and Arthur Streeton.
Also on Howard’s birthday visitors will be able to purchase our catalogue Munificence: The Story of the Howard Hinton Collection, with over 100 full colour images of the highlights from the Hinton Collection, at a special price of $30 (a saving of almost 25% on the regular price of $39.95).
For those who wish to indulge in a delicious lunch at Studio 52 before or after your tour, Studio 52 will be providing a complimentary tea/coffee with your meal; limited to those who book Storeroom Tours only.
