Photography Workshop

A two day photography workshop with professional photographer David Doyle. Learn how to take more dynamic landscape and portrait photographs and master camera techniques such as composition, focus and lighting to obtain dramatic and energetic images connecting people to a landscape.

Includes tuition, working both inside the photographic studio and outside around Armidale.

Saturday 3 May
10-11am:
Meet at NERAM – Artist’s view and discussion of Exposure: Unseen New England

11am-12:30pm:
Audio Visual talk to view and discuss how to approach landscape and portrait photography and camera techniques

12.30pm:
Lunch (BYO or at NERAMharvest)

1.30-4pm:
Photographing in the grounds around NERAM

Sunday 4 May
10am–12.30pm:
Meet at David Doyle’s Studio to review work from Saturday and use Studio lighting.

12.30 -1.30pm:
BYO lunch in town

1.30 – 4pm:
Walk to Central Park, Mall and other locations for outdoor photography and back to Studio to review and critique work
