Curator Talk – Warwick Heywood

Warwick Heywood has been Curator of Art at the Australian War Memorial for over seven years. He has played a key role in enhancing the Memorial’s collection of modernist art and in the development and exhibition of its contemporary official war art scheme. Warwick is the author of numerous publications and articles related to the Memorial’s collection. He has curated several exhibitions for the Memorial, including Shaun Gladwell: Afghanistan, and Framing conflict, featuring the works of Charles Green and Lyndell Brown.

Join exhibition curator, Warwick Heywood for a tour of the exhibition, Reality in Flames exploring the themes and works selected. This exhibition commemorates the 75th anniversary of the start of the Second World War and features art by Russell Drysdale, Sidney Nolan and Albert Tucker.
