Jonathon Larsen takes a side ways glance at our collective Icons in his exhibition Made in Australia. International Pop, Modernism and local cultural/political/environmental references are juxtaposed in a colourful and irreverent way. This exhibition both hopes to add to the confusion and be a part of the conversation about what constitutes an icon in today’s modern Australia.
Four local artists: Stuart Boggs, Rowen Matthews, Frances Alter and Robyn Jackson work together on ‘One Work’, a collaboration of mind and spirit, a blending of techniques
and shared inspiration.
